On Saturday August 15th Rosy took part in the fourth challenge of the #Challengerosy summer series - the DB Max Portishead Sprint Triathlon. This was the first triathlon that Rosy has done and required more training than her previous challenges. Rosy learnt to swim for the triathlon with help from her colleagues at MB HQ and went for long cycle rides to increase her confidence on the bike.
Rosy was running to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK & Auzair's Fast Track Research Fund. You can still donate to this event by visiting our Just Giving page.
The British weather helped spur Rosy on to a finish time of 2 hours and three minutes, and a gender position of 83 out of 105. She was cheered over the finish line by Sales Director Ben White and celebrated her accomplishment with a little dance!
The team at MB HQ are so proud of Rosy's achievements and overcoming her fears of the swim, we are very much looking forward to seeing her complete the final two challenges in her series and the ultimate goal of adding marathon runner to her ever growing list of achievements.
